Several years ago, amid sanctions, the domestic market required rapid restructuring and creation of proprietary products. Based on the production capabilities of NIXI PLAST LLC, development began on technology for producing carboxylic acids and related derivative products.
After initial shipments of oleic acid, it became clear that scaling to a modern plant level was necessary, building on proven proprietary domestic technology. Further goals included expanding the product line and establishing a new market presence.
The task was not just interesting but highly ambitious: within less than a year, a plant with an annual capacity of over 10,000 tons had to be built, commercial product output established, and sales launched.
Why the Urals? The choice of location was deliberate. Firstly, a pilot production facility had already been built there, proving the technology's effectiveness. Additionally, proximity to raw materials, existing transport infrastructure, sanitary protection zones, and environmental compliance were key factors.
The plant includes a raw material processing unit (reactors, separators), distillation/fractionation units, fatty acid salt synthesis lines, and a quality control laboratory. A closed-loop water system has been implemented to minimize environmental impact.
What about waste? There is none—only by-products: sulfates, glycerin water, and fat pitch. Agreements are in place for sulfate supplies to construction material manufacturers, where they act as strengtheners in mineral binders. Fat pitch is used in road construction, and glycerin, after further purification, becomes a versatile product with numerous technical applications.
Our product quality is certified by GOST R standards and the "100 Best Goods of Russia" award. Safety data sheets have been obtained for the "oleic acids" product group. We strictly adhere to technical regulations and conduct quality control at every production stage.
The company is located in the Urals—a strategically advantageous region with developed logistics. This allows prompt product delivery across Russia and CIS countries.
